The dot does not show exactly where the restaurant is located. It is just 150 meters from the Roman bridge. We have visited Vaison in 1994, 99, 2000, 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2011 and each time we've enjoyed the restaurants in the area. This one has the fresh local produce (as mentioned in the previous review) and the service is "with a smile." Highly recommended. Service is 5 stars

We have eaten at La Belle Etoile many times over the last three years, always wonderful food and service. The special treat is the gardens with the mermaid statues!

In a three-week trip through France (Riviera, Provence, Paris), this was undoubtedly the best meal I had. Everything was exquisite -- the preparation was top-notch, as was the service. The attention to detail to the perfectly-cooked vegetables in the soup and main course impressed the heck out of me.

Some of the best meals we’ve had in France. Great local wine selection and wonderful hosts. We also stayed here for 2 nights and the breakfasts are incredible. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend for dinner and for the B&B.

Delicious diner al fresco in the lovely courtyard. The food was extremely good, the service perfect and the atmosphere super relaxed, friendly and professional. I would go again.
